India Records 8,306 New Covid Cases

India recorded 8,306 new cases in the last 24 hours. Daily positivity rate (0.94%) less than 2% for last 63 days. Weekly Positivity Rate (0.78%) less than 1% for last 22days. Active caseload currently stands at 98,416; lowest in 552 days. Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.28%; Lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.35% with 8,834 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases taking the total recoveries to 3,40,69,608. 64.82 crore tests were conducted so far. 127.93 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
